Web Developer - Northern Virginia
We are looking for a motivated, energetic individual who will be a team member in the fast growing development team, looking to learn new technologies and develop in the area of web development.
Position Requirements and Responsibilities:
- 1- 2+ years of development experience in Linux, Apache, mySQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, Java, J2EE
- 1+ years of AJAX development experience.
- Ability to code independently significant functional components
- Unit testing
- Resolve bugs found during testing
- Ability to design technical solution based on functional requirements
- Desire to experiment with new technologies
- Proficiency using version control (Subversion preferred)
- BS Degree in Computer Science preferable but not required
- Experience in a Web 2.0 or user-generated content environment is a big plus
Senior Web Developer - Northern Virginia
We are looking for a motivated, energetic individual who will be a able provide technical expertise in all aspects of web development and be a senior team member reporting to the technical lead.
Position Requirements and Responsibilities:
- 5+ years of web development experience utilizing following technologies Linux, Apache, mySQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, J2EE
- 2+ years of AJAX development experience.
- Ability to code independently significant functional components
- Unit testing
- Resolve bugs found during testing
- Ability to design technical solution based on functional requirements
- Desire to experiment with new technologies
- Proficiency using version control (Subversion preferred)
- BS Degree in Computer Science preferable but not required

Technical Lead - Northern Virginia
We are looking for a motivated, energetic individual who can provide technical expertise in all aspects of development and lead a team of developers through rapid development life cycle.
Position Requirements and Responsibilities:
- 7+ years of web development experience preferably in the area of interactive newsmedia, social networking
- Experience with Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, Java, J2EE, JavaScript, AJAX
- Experience with related technologies, including SOAP and XML
- Familiar with back-end server technologies, databases, and performance optimization
- Significant experience as a team lead in design and architecture
- BS Degree in Computer Science preferable
- Experience in a Web 2.0 or user-generated content environment is a big plus
- Conduct code reviews with the developers
- Establish development processes and help drive development practices forward
- Establish code quality guidelines
- Conduct design reviews
- Ability to recommend on the best practices in development
Must be able to guide team with new technologies used for projects to ensure effective and efficient development
